I *seem* to recall that a year or two back, NASA ( ... or whoever ) was
suggesting that the rate of discovery of large NEO's was slowing because the knowledge of the population as a whole was becoming saturated ... Looking at the latest discovery statistics, *casually*, I wonder if that earlier claim was premature. See http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/stats/ Cordially, RL |
