Did you know there are already 91 moons found to be orbiting ASTEROIDS?
Andrzej Karon, a very good friend of mine, has created a website containing a constantly updated info on these unique bodies: http://moonlets.republika.pl/index_en.html He also creates animations of asteroids and their moons, based on the most accurate data and scientific models: http://moonlets.republika.pl/anims/(87)_sylvia-divx.avi You can see more of these he http://moonlets.republika.pl/animations_en.html The latest news is the first moon orbiting a Centaur, namely the (66391) 1999 KW4. You can see all the data in the chart he provided: http://moonlets.republika.pl/table_en.html Enjoy, Karol P. |
