Check this 6" DOB on Ebay! If he cranks the focuser in more, it may
crash into the secondary.

Any way, must be a nice viewing with that 2" tube going across the light
path, eh?
I get all ways surprised, people selling telescopes on line and pictures
showing it in some weird, stupid position, like the tube pointing at the
ground etc....
Even a 5 year old knows more, telescopes are used to look it stars up,
not bugs in dirt.

Won't happen. Look at the rack. Notice that the end half inch, does not
have any teeth. This is to stop you winding it too far out. The upper end
is the same, to stop you winding it too far _in_. No crash. You have to
undo the whole knob assembly to allow the tube to move completely in/out.

The normal storage position for this focusser is as shown, since it keeps
the focusser tube from being knocked.

Even a 5 year old knows more, telescopes are used to look it stars up,
