During an install of this program ZA Pro flagged up a warning about, KnlWrap
Module trying to monitor keyboard and mouse movements, thats not nice is it. KnlWrap Module is trying to monitor your system to observe what events are occurring. ZoneAlarm Pro is asking you whether to allow this behavior. Your computer is safe. What should I do? If KnlWrap Module needs to monitor your system to observe what events are occurring and you trust this program, then give it permission. If you do not trust this program or the program does not need to monitor your system then deny it. If you are unsure, you can always deny access and run the program again, if it is required. Why? KnlWrap Module is potentially malicious. It may be attempting to monitor your system to observe what events are occurring to retrieve information about you or your system. Martin |

HI: I expect you'll hear from Steve shortly, but I can tell you right now, that if the program is actually doing what your software says it is, there is _no_ malicious intent. I've been working with Mssr Tuma for quite a few years now, and I can tell you he is a stand-up guy, interested in developing quality astronomy software. KnlWrap is a module most commonly used by InstallShield. It is perfectly safe. Most anyone who has installed a program distributed inside a recent InstallShield package probably has it on their system. What is important is that it resides in memory only during install/uninstall/update operations. During normal operation it isn't loaded or active. I wouldn't worry about it. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com |

I like to DL the demos or tryoutwares and give'm a test run to see if it's
something I can use or might want to use, but spyware or record ware is off limits to my computer. I run some programs that do a search for anything and kills anything it finds in that form, even tracker cookies get killed. About 90% of my software has been either freeware or shareware with a few try-buywares that I've paid for. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords "RMOLLISE" wrote in message oups.com... No thanks, I'll save my money and use Cartes du Ciel. Any trial software
that insists on nagging for my money isn't worth it. |

Well, that's quite a separate issue from any potential security problems. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com |

I'm not sure why you got that warning message but I can assure you the
file is clean. After I received your email I used 3 different antivirus and spyware software (Trend, Microsoft AntiSpyware, and System Mechanic Spyathon) on it just to be sure and that file is clean. I am not sure why zone alarm flagged it.
