Default Webb Model

Last week I posted about the James Webb model, well I found the paper today,
The model is a 1/6th optical testbed model with fully coated mirrors ( got a
photo of the model with the tech refection in the mirrors. It was made by
Ball Aerospace and will simulate the focusing characteristics of the JWST.

It has the same type of motors behind the mirrors for controling each one.

Key word is simulate. Really a mechanical demo. Optics will not work
in operational wavelengths.

I don't think Aerotech News & Review keeps their stuff on the web very long,
this was in the 12/9/05 issure. A bit later today I'll see if I can scan it
and then post it someplace.
