Default OM's whereabouts for the past few days

....Yeah, things have been silent on this end for the past few days,
but this time for a *good* reason. I had to babysit Brother Dim's
house while he and some friends went to the Rose Bowl. While there, I
found a surprise - he'd apparently borrowed the Spacecraft Films
Saturn V, I & IB, A8 and A11 DVD sets from the library at work, and
had left them there for me to watch. needless to say, there was only
one disappointment: no footage of the Saturn 1 tank test where they
used beer cans as a temporary sloshing fix :-( Either way, they're
worth picking up!

I'm surprised they didn't use the tailed floats they developed for
Jupiter for the test.

Mr. Von Fourche had a theory about why you ceased posting, but the
regulars told him it was probably wrong.
If you need a good laugh, look it up on the "Just Checking" thread. :-D

....Most of Von Douche's comments since he's gotten here have been
wrong.

If you need a good laugh, look it up on the "Just Checking" thread. :-D

....Remember, I have him killfiled. However, I *have* seen the
responses. The nerve of a newbie, to think *he* can "shame away" the
New God of Creative Flaming. Tsk.

He he, good to have you back!

house while he and some friends went to the Rose Bowl.

Thus setting himself up for the sort of Hubris SoCal has just
experienced...But what if it it is *Princeton* that ends your
championship string?

[...] the Spacecraft Films
Saturn V, I & IB, A8 and A11 DVD sets

[...]
Either way, they're worth picking up!

So how many times did you have to go through them to exercise all the
options?

....One of the interesting things about the Rice team of 1962 was that
they produced two tie games that knocked Texas U and LSU out of the #1
spot. It's generally accepted that it was JFK's speech about "Why [the
****] does Rice [bother to] play Texas [knowing they're going to get
the living **** beat out of them]?" that gave the Rice football team
the inspiration to at least lose brilliantly. It proved that even a
last-place team can spoil the champs' dreams, and that's what it's all
about - if you can't win, at least **** the other guy up so bad he
won't be able to enjoy it.
