What's Up 2006 - 365 Days of Skywatching
Free downloadable ebook describing different objects that are viewable for
each day of the year, ~13.6 MB 400 page pdf document. Lots of pictures and historical references. Just took a quick glance, seems to be oriented towards the novice but deep sky objects also mentioned as well as many historical items. Nicely laid out, well worth a look.
