Astronaut Noguchi's Mission Debriefing

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will hold a meeting to hear
a report from Astronaut Noguchi and his fellow STS-114 crewmembers who
will visit Japan. The meeting will take place in Tokyo and his home
town, Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, under the following schedule.

1. Meeting Outline

(1) Meeting in Tokyo (General Mission Debriefing)
Hosted by: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Date & Time: 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on October 1 (Saturday),
2005 (Japan Standard Time, JST)
Location: ZEPP TOKYO (Ohmi, Koto-ku, Tokyo)
Admission: Free
Participants have to be older than junior high school students.
1,200 will be invited, and, seats will be allocated through a draw.

(2) Meeting in Chigasaki (Mission Debriefing at Home Town)
Hosted by: Chigasaki City Govenment and
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Supported by: Kanagawa Prefectural Govenment
Date & Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on October 2 (Sunday), 2005 (JST)
Location: Chigasaki City Cultural Hall (Chigasaki, Kanagawa Pref.)
Admission: Free
Participants have to be older than elementary school students
1,000 people will be invited, and, seats will be allocated through a
draw.

2. How to Apply

Please follow the instructions below. If we have more applications
than our scheduled number of participants, we will carry out a draw.
The results of the draw will be revealed only to the lucky winners by
sending an invitation card to those who are selected to participate.
The cards will be dispatched no earlier than September 28, 2005 (JST).

Applications can be made either by a prepaid reply postcard or through
the Internet. Only one entry per person for each venue is acceptable.
Please be aware that, should you make multiple entries, all of your
applications will be invalidated.

Please follow the instructions below. Four (4) people can apply per
one prepaid return postcard.
(For elementary school children, a guardian is required.)

1. Name, address (with a zip code), telephone No. of participant
(Please write only the name of the representative of all
participants here, if a group of people apply on one postcard.)
2. Name, age, and occupation (or school grade) of other participants
(up to three more people), if you are a group.
3. Question to Astronaut Noguchi (We plan to have a question and
answer session during the meetings.)
4. On the front side of the postcard for the reply, write the name
and address (with a zip code) of the representative.

Please note that the address is different according to the meeting
location. You cannot apply for two meeting sites using one card.
