Default Solar eclipse to darken the sky

Everyone's knocking media coverage of the eclipse, but Teletext page 323
has a useful introduction.
I don't think you'll see a dark sky away from the centre line, though.

Everyone's knocking media coverage of the eclipse,

Radio 1 at about 7:30 this morning told the country that the partial solar
eclipse would be today (Sunday) and not Monday. If you're going to advertise
something like this, then it's important to get the dates right........
