"The First Quadrant ~

Being in the shade of A Superlative Somebody,
Turning around a magic orbit,
Forming an essential part of symmetry,

The rising Grande Staircase ascending The Grande
Concourse

Carried out The Manner one day, which imposed upon us
To remain in The Museum.

I met her trying to see through The Gold ~
Gilded Window,
The Painting's Picture Frame.

'Sit,'
She said to me ~

'Sit down, create a creature comfort pause for one moment,
Then I will give you a reason
Not to go.'

I started to cry ~
'But why?' I asked.

'You can have your cake and also eat it,
If you like.'

She was writing her memories,
She would explain later to me.

'How is this possible?'
I asked her.

She gave me a certain icing for the cake.

'I should be on my way, so, Au Revoir,
See you ~ !

I am on my bicycle, cycling, of course, according
To a course on the remote side of a wave,
Which brought me here
To you.

Onward I must cycle ...'

And off I pedaled,
Over to The Egyptian Wing ~ !"

Discourse ~

Being a discursive exploration of the landscape
Made meager by ambivalence,

Pithy with hyperbolae,
Sharpened crisply by laying out flat,

Brought to bloom
With the soft air of dyslexic confusion ..."
~ Raving

Pith ~ The soft whitish fibrous tissue
That lies under the outer rind of citrus fruits.
The central spongy tissue of the stem
Of a vascular plant.
Also called medulla.

The soft spongy
Inner material of a part of the body, such as
A hair shaft or bone. The central
Or most important or significant part of something,

Such as an argument
Or discussion. Vigor, stamina, weight,

Or substance.
To cut or destroy the spinal cord of a vertebrate
As part of a laboratory experiment.

To kill animals,
Especially cattle, by cutting through the spinal cord.

To remove
The pith from the center of a plant stem.

"To flower
Morning Glories, gloriously, if vainly, for Veritas."

"Please explain."

Don't know any, T1. Thought that you might be more enlightened than
myself. That's why I was asking. ...

Perhaps someone should post the request-for-information in
alt.usenet.kooks.
They ought to be more familiar with the material which is available ?

I am personna non grata, therein ....

Lucky you!

Will you never be satisfied?

Being sincere, now ...
I am becoming somewhat piqued that events between myself and AUK are
proceeding in a manner which is disquietingly similar and familiar to
other significant events in my life.

AUK is wary of me for good reason. They sense what may be coming ...

It seems that many of the regular posters in alt.astronomy are
struggling with something or other in their own lives: personal
tragedy, poverty, loneliness, etc. So any of us could, if hit hard
enough on a day when we're already down, be "pushed over the edge"!
That's why I wish that AUK would just stay out of here and mind their
own damned business!

THAT is exactly the reason which I mentioned the Formosa rule in the
first place in the begining of July. Apparently, Art thought that I
wished it applied specifically to myself. I thought that I was just
being cold shouldered. Most effective, btw!

Only after Art dropped the 'hint' did I go looking for the thread and
put together what had happened. I was so impressed by the way that
'auk' handled it combined by the steadfastness that they held to their
decision that I am left with no alternative but to accept it and
respect it for what it is.

Double-A, you are discovering for yourself what I already realize about
the Formosa Rule and the consequences that surround it. I feel quite
bound out of respect concerning what happened to say no more one way or
another. To do otherwise would be wrong for me. It ceased to be my
prerogative. ... assuming that it ever was so.

I am well aware of it nightbat. It makes me feel rather awkward.

There are many sides to the situation. They are probably served better
by it than some of them realize.

I complain because it 'hurts' and I want them to know that. They earned
that knowledge.

For the rest, you must explore and discover yourself. The issue is too
important and consequential. I cannot be manipulative about it. .. that
really is for 'auk' to discover, decide and manage. Its their
initiative, their prerogative. It is for them to do for themselves
regardless of what I might think, feel or understand. Criminal laws are
changing. The issue is a very real one with hard detrimental
consequences.

AUK earned my respect for real; not because they did me a favor or what
they decided specifically. Rather because they initiated and pursued a
responsible process with intelligence, sensibility, conviction and
discipline. The factual outcome is secondary. It is whatever.

Adopting and adhering to something like the Formosa rule whilst
engaging upon what they do presents them with a connumdrum that they
are working through. I don't envy them. I respect their effort. I am
aware of the implictions and rammifications of it all.

I have said all that I can bring myself to say. It makes me feel
awkward.
Without doubt, what is occuring with regard to these issues will
greatly benefit everyone ... Hopefully, it will benefit 'Auk' most of
all. They are fighting to learn how to better conduct themselves. I
appreciate that. I must respect that. It is for you and others to
provide your own input should you feel that it is appropriate. You may
or may not be listed to. It will be interpreted as it will be so. ...

Could it be any other way given this scenario ?

Is there any other part of the planet that you think you might like
better? Ever think of emigrating?

New Zealand used to be the place I kept in mind where I thought I might
go if things got really bad where I was at. I guess it was about as
far away as I could get from where I was!

Now, now, Officer Ray, snap out of it, you're an Earth Science
Team Officer, the auk boys can't have an Officer Team shirt even if they
Officer Bert begged him to no end. Forget them and what is now Cadet
Rising Loonie harping about he got science group auk nominated didn't
he? As Captain I am doing everything possible to get that Starship for
my Team, don't worry I'm on it. And that 2012 date is just to warn the
Warhol and coffee boy clueless to get in line. I hope to have Sil pick
me and us up long before then just give Darla a little more time to
complete the Andromedan mission for it must be very important to them.
Jolly old England can't be that bad is it? The rainy weather can be very
depressing I hear, well forget it, just think of the great places we'll
be able to go once I have that Sil named Nightbat Starship. Think sunny
beaches in far away places, islands in the sun. Officer Twitty's
Amsterdam red light district and Officer Double-A's store front dolls.
Officer Bert's bike boats for two with pretty Star Maids all in a row.
When it's gloomy outside I stay occupied at Indy Base One just looking
up day or night for Sil, checking my UFO detector on infinity setting,
fixing and polishing all my tools and equipment, and checking for any
Team Officer world wide planetary news reports. I stow file ignore the
auk rants so should you, and if the Sean Darla Star Race comes through
as promised think of the wonderful Team Science fun exploration you'll
have. All things come to those who wait. Rome wasn't built in a day and
I can't wait to see my brave Sil. And if nothing else you always have
good net astronomy friends to always lighten your load. (:~)
