CBS News carried the story tonight of how in the course of his job at
Los Alamos (as an auditor, I think) this poor fellow uncovered millions in government waste. When he was told by his superiors to stop, he reported it. CBS also showed before and after pictures of him. Why hasn't his story made the Google News front page? http://www.krqe.com/expanded.asp?ID=10367 What's your prediction? Will the Republicans in Congress give it any more than lip service? (You know, the Grassley brush-off.) Will Bush's new Attorney General do anything about it? Will the FBI ever jail anybody? How many crimes will have to go unpunished before people get some respect for trying to save lives in the course of their work, or for reporting "Drano" trails in federal expenditures? Hmmm....
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Authorities said Thursday that the beating of a Los Alamos nuclear lab auditor outside a bar was unrelated to his status as a whistleblower. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,159097,00.html My prediction is that our Whistleblower may need to go back and take some Drivers Education classes. jg " wrote in message oups.com... That's precariously loose terminology. My prediction is that our Whistleblower may need to go back and take some Drivers Education classes. Since you're speculating, I'll add my two cents. To me, it seems rather late for news of a struck pedestrian to be surfacing. They say you can't fight "city hall." Nevertheless, didn't someone successfully fight Tammany Hall?
