a little overpriced. but otherwise an excelent mount , possibly the
best in the size. if you are willing to spend a little extra get a G11.
bigger, heavier, more expensive, but considerably more mount for your
money.

Hi fiona, I already have a NexStar 11 GPS, so I don't really need a
heavier mount. If I were to get one I'd be looking at the Losmandy
Titan for that C14 or Mewlon 300 down the road... I think I'm going to
go with the little tak mount, of course the P2Z is not too much more
....

I own one and have successfully imaged with it (20 and 40 second unguided
ST-7 exposures through a Sky 90 which I believe was at and maybe a hair
beyond the edge of it's limits for imaging - but it worked, nonetheless).

While not really large enough to perform as a general use mount, it may be
the best small-scope travel mount ever built, as it collapses into a pile of
parts small enough to fit into my 10"x7"x3.5" insulated lunch box - plus,
for all it's small size, it's still over-built like all TAK gear and I can
fit my Sky 90, the Sky Patrol mount, a carbon fiber tripod and several
eyepieces and accessories into ONE airline carry on bag. An entire observing
system that I don't have to trust a single ounce of to the baggage handling
apes.

Thanks Paul, the most I would put on it would be a Tak FS-60C with my
digital rebel DSLR at prime focus....

I spent a couple of hours one night at the Table Mountain Star party just
observing with a friend's F 60C on that mount and still fondly recall the
experience. Amazing what that little 60 can do under dark skies in the Sgr
region.
