Open Letter to Mark Estabrook and Scott Grissom

There is irrefutable proof the "mystery plate" was standard equipment
on the MDC. I urge Scott and Mark to refer to page 1358 of the
"Hearings Before the Subcommittee on NASA Oversight of the Committee on
Science and Astronautics, U.S. House of Representatives." Labeled
"Enclosure 5-36", this page displays a photograph of the Main Display
Console after the fire...and shows DOZENS of the so-called "mystery
plate" all over those switches. Scott and Mark have not done their
homework, and NASA is going to bury them when the documentary comes
out. This will be one time when I will be on the same team with
NASA...exposing the truth about Apollo One and holding NASA accountable
is too important to allow ANYONE to put out false
information--including Gus' son.
THAT BEING SAID, there is ALSO irrefutable proof the S-11 switch WAS
shorted...but that "mystery plate" did NOT cause the short.
Gentlemen, I am sorry to give you this information in such a public
fashion, but you have repeatedly refused to reply to my emails. You've
left me no choice but to confront you in this fashion. Please realize
whatever embarrassment this message may cause is NOTHING compared to
the public humiliation you will experience if you insist on putting
misinformation in your film. Mark, I wish you would forget about your
contract for a minute and take a good long look at your own character.
Do you want to sell your soul for Scott or do you want to get the facts
correct?
Scott, what is your goal? Is it the TRUTH, or simply proving yourself
to be right? Unfortunately, the evidence indicates your motive is the
latter. I hope you prove me wrong.
