Default CD ROMs of the night sky

Can you buy CD ROMs of actual pictures of the night sky, as opposed to a
computer animation? TIA.

The Graystel CD star atlas http://members.aol.com/graystel/gsahp.htm
uses real images of the night sky, and there's a US program called
Desktop Universe, which has apparently now become part of the latest
Starry Night product.
