transatlantic bickering, Cassini - Huygens stands out as a superb of
what can be done when USA and the EU cooperate.

It is indeed fantastic success by NASA, ESA. I believe this mission was
far more difficult than those on mars. We have yet to recieve real
data. But it has landed on Titan and alive, this is the fact of this
moment.

Not to belittle it but personally I think there was a lot of luck
involved too. Someone should go into a casino and offer a handful
of dollars to dame fortune at the roulette table. She has earned a
sacrifice, hasn't she? :-)

Bravo ESA! Hopefully we'll see more probes like this in the future.

Does anyone have links to NASA's Titan blimp designs which has been
kicked around? I remember seeing a talk on it this summer by one of the
project scientists, but can't find any info online.

Yes. We should have more international collaboration like that
