Default CG5-GT drives and controllers on a GP?

Anyone got a clue if I can install the CG5-GT motors (and covers) on a Vixen
GP?

The mounts are nearly identical, so I figure I should be able.

Thanks,
Stephen

Stephen,

They will work, but with one caveat. The dovetail saddle
on the Dec axis has a problem on the Vixen GP (or at least
the GP-DX I saw it intalled on). You would need to take
the piece off of a CG5 to make the Dec motor fit. The
RA motor is no issue. If you have the Advanced Series
GT mount that they came off of, the pieces can be switched
with no issue (other than color match).

Thanks, Tom Davis
