So in your first sentence you say "I think ignoring him is good" and in

your
fourth sentence you said "I would be willing to erect an electronic shrine
to perpetuate his idiocy."

Well, we are sort of caught up in between idealism and realism. We can
ignore him, but there will come newbies. It would be nice instead of
debating JTMs continual, inane, beating of the dead horse here in s.s.s. we
could simply tell newbies to go to "Why the SRBs didn't cross" at
www.debunk.com and be done with it.

Fortunately, that is *my* decision -- not yours! Only one thing
could ever change my mind -- a full retraction of what you've said
about me, Paul, my website, and my book while claiming absolutely
that the Rogers Report is in major respects flawless.

I've never said that the PC report is flawless. In fact, there is even a
section in it wherein Thiokol makes some corrections. However, it is a far
better treatment to read than your book. I don't recall saying anything
about Paul. You, OTOH, are rude, stubborn, misinformed, and have a major
chip on your shoulder. However, I have also said that I hope you will come
out of your present state of mind and let go of the anger that you
apparently have. Your book is another story entirely, because it is, in
fact, full of misinterpreted images, stretches of the imagination,
unsupported claims, incorrect claims, and extremely prejudiced opinions.

LOX and LH2 Hypergolic? I don't think so

Yes, I responded a while ago to that.

I thought they were hypergolic because I thought that when you bring LO2 and
LH2 into contact with each other they spontaneously combust. Not true at
all? Not true in a combustion chamber minus a flame source? I don't know...

Just a heads-up here and a teaser. At least two discussions of either JTMs
book and/or his claims presented here are in-work or already finished and
ready to be made public on the web in the near future. In the meantime, here
are a couple RealPlayer clips that you likely have not seen of the
Challenger disintegration. Commentary and related discussion will follow on
the respective web pages ONLY. No further discussion should really take
place here - ALL questions have been answered here already and will be
presented on the mentioned web pages. The futility of trying to open the
eyes of one individual should not interfere with the valid use of this
newsgroup by others. Therefore the web pages will be made public when they
are ready and will serve as a FAQ to newbies, etc. in lieu of pointless
arguing here.

Note that the quality is lower than would be preferred, but these are
first-cut digitizations and better ones will be supplied in the future.

The upshot is this: Any sane person can see that the SRBs in no way *could*
have crossed, nor *did* they cross.

Castglance
is proof positive of a fireball crossing.

"John Maxson"
No one has made any pretense about the Castglance video being
any more than supporting evidence of the fireball X-ing.
