Default Why can't we send a man to PLUTO?

We could cryogenically freeze the crew and have the computer wake them up
when the ship is almost there.

Because that's where we're sending Bill O'Reilly/O'Lielly when he
pleads guilty to all charges in his sexual harrassment lawsuit and
goes and f**ks off and crawls into his pathetic, little hole and dies.

Because it's already been proven that when we try something like that the
computer goes psycho and kills most of the crew, and the only survivor
starts fraternizing with mysterious black monoliths...

There's no point to doing so. Pluto has no oil, and no dictator with
caches of WMDs and ties to al Qaeda.
