Shame on you. The accessories that you bought, have caused cloud over the
entire UK. :-)

Inconsiderate sod. Couldn't you have waited until full Moon or
something? Or at least the *beginning* of the week? Oh well, at least
you had the decency to apologise, unlike some people who have the gall
to exhibit *pride* in acquiring their cloud-inducers.

Best,
Stephen

"""Not THE 8" LX90 on special offer by any chance was it?"""

Yup, the cheapest I've seen is £1435 from:

http://www.skyviewoptics.co.uk/new_page_5.htm

Wasn't much in the mood for waiting for delivery (should have with the
clouds) and took a drive to Venturescope where they did it for £1499 which
is consistent with most offerings since 8 March. Both include the Lunar
Planetary Imager, and UHTC coating.

Regards

Chris

So you're responsible for Central England's cloud cover?

Don't leave me out - on Thursday I bought the new DigimaxT 40 & adaptors

so that
I can use my Coolpix 4500 to take astro photos.
So far though, I've had to confine myself to diatoms through my

microscope, or
just using the 40mm Plossl by itself to copy slides. First results are

very
sharp indeed, so all I need to do now is to wait for clear skies.

Hmmm - that's not the one I meant...

It was gone before I got to it.
