If anyone gets this in the next few minutes, rush out and look south.
There's a lovely view of Mars, the Moon and Venus all really bright and clear. In fact Venus is so bright, it was shining through a bank of cloud a few minutes ago. Lucy |

Yep, seen it and proved to myself that getting a Dobsonian was right for me.
It was out in 30 seconds, pointed at the moon in another ten and had me saying "wow!" in another 3. Then the clouds came, but at least the scope was safely back inside 30 seconds later ............. :-) "Lucy" wrote in message ... All clouds here :-( Was able to see it the last few nights though. :-)
