Hi,
Just thought I would pop in aquery to this group concerning a blazing trail of light that I saw on evening of 25th this month at about 10 GMT. I am no astronomer but I guessed it could have been space junk burning up in the higher atmosphere. It lasted about 5 seconds and split into several trails like a firework, but they all remained on a horizontal plain. Just wondered if any particular debris was expected this week over UK, or was it more likely to be a small meteorite? Thanks in advance Phil Western East Anglia Cambridgeshire UK |
