I setup in the garden last night thinking it was going to be clear,
the sky looked good at 6:00pm (apart from the bright moon) and the forcast was reasonable. It went hazy at about 8:00pm so I went inside for a cup of tea and to wait half an hour to see if it clears. I came outside and I could barely see the scope for fog! Right, I thought seeing as how everything was setup I may as well take a few flat frames with the CCD camera (fog is good for that - nice, even illumination) and also a few dark frames. So I'm sat there with the scope, in the dark, in the fog, and my neighbour comes out and looks at me. I smile and say 'evenin... He just mumbles something and retires indoors shaking his head. So I guess I'm labelled a nutter for certain now. ChrisH UK Astro Ads: http://www.UKAstroAds.co.uk |
