Go the Astronomy Picture of the day. Today's picture is 'near' The Apollo
17 landing site. Note that the cross symbols in the photo are in the
foreground except at the rover part of the photo. The rover is most
obviously in front of the cross symbol, or rather super-imposed over the
photo. Also note that there are no tire tracks leading to the rover as if it
had just been placed there by some giant hand.

well, I am not sure there are no tire tracks, but I must say that I do not
SEE tire tracks on this picture.

so this picture in itself does not prove anything to me.

Hay Tom, you just have to remember, these folks don't have the brain cells
needed to know what your even talking about. All they can do is follow the rest

The reason is very simple if you know anything about photography. Do some
research, (Hint: it has to do with exposure.)

Any photographer who's ever used a data camera has no problem making a
reseau fiducial disappear. Have you ever used a reseau-equipped camera?

If you look at the hi-res image and zoom in on the cross, you can clearly
see that it _is_ visible - faint, but distinct. Your failure to examine the
evidence before posting what you see as 'obvious' is quite telling.
