Interesante! Pero un poco despacio a causa de las animaciones elaboradas.
Una pagina interesante y llena de informacion.

What's the matter, you've never seen a foreign language before?

By the way, does this newsgroup require postings to be in English? Most
don't, but since this one is for the UK, it may. In that case, please
accept my apologies for replying to a Spanish posting in that language.

Personally I don't mind if a poster needs to post in another language (as
long as it is on topic). It might be nice for anybody replying who
understood the language to post not only the reply, but a translation of the
origianl post as well, this way the poster may get more replies.

just a thought,

You're always going to get the lamebrains who can't even speak English,
let alone any foreign language.
But I wonder whether the original poster is also posting to a Spanish
group.

FWIW you can read the charter here
http://www.usenet.org.uk/uk.sci.astr....sci.astronomy

Given that the target audience is "within the UK", and the dominant
language here is English (or some corrupted form of it, eg Estuarine,
Scouse etc) it would seem sensible.

There's also a general usenet principle that in a group within a
national heirarchy, you post in the language of that nation, eg in the
fr.* heirarchy, use french. Meanwhile in the non-national heirarchies,
you should /always/ use english, unless the group specifies otherwise.

Or so I've discerned, over nearly 20 years of using usenet.

It's not the uk part but the sci part that requires English, since
English is the only language of accuracy.

For example the French call it eau, the Germans wasser, the Italians
aqua, but only the English call it water which is what the stuff
actually IS.

Cheers
