Default Astro-theme Vanity Plates

Vanitas vanitatum, et omnia vanitas.

I put astro-themed vanity plates on my Nissan Titan today
http://www.davidillig.com/titanvanity.shtml. I was surprised that the
combination that I wanted was available, as it is applicable over a
wide area that includes many marinas on the Chesapeake Bay, and could
be of interest to mariners as well as astronomers and other mental
cases.

Who else among us has astro-themed vanity plates? Would you be
interested in posting a photo of them in an astro-themed vanity-plate
gallery on my site?

raspberries, even an Arabic lesson of sorts.

In California, I expect that one is generally misunderstood...

Definitely a double entendre.

Well... I think this might be more "geography" themed than astronomy themed.

When I was at Stellafane last year I saw more astronomy themed plates than I
ever imagined existed. If I go back this year, I'll take pics of them for
your gallery.

FWIW, someone in my neighborhood (in Silicon Valley) has a minivan bearing
the plate "APO TOTE". I guess he's got a big one. :-)

Interestingly, the following are available in California:

SCT TOTE
MAK TOTE
CAT TOTE
DOB TOTE
NEWTOTE

MEADE
CELSTRN

The following are NOT available:

ASTRO
SCOPE
SCOPER
SKYLOOK
SKYVIEW

This topic reminds me of 2 other "unusual" plates I've seen:

"2 NAVELS" on a Bentley I passed on I-280. My guess is the car belongs to
Mariette Hartley (who had 2 navels in a 1970s-era sci fi doomsday movie)

"AD 4 WIFE" on a baby-blue-colored Rolls-Royce I passed also on I-280.
