Really impressive. Is this really the result of combining 20(!) photos??

I saw at Hutech website (BORG's distributer) same impressive pictures
with just one or two long exposures. They were taken with Canon D300 EOS.

As photograprer, can you elaborate in understanding the difference
between the ways how your and other (at Hutech) pictures were taken.
And may be the difference between sensors in 10D and 300D?
