Has anyone been able to upload or download any BOINC Seti@home or BOINC Beta
test WU's through? There was a warning dated 29th June on the S@H site but
it has now been removed and the BOINC Beta site seems to have been down for
days.

Read through some of the current threads. This is already being discussed...

And, the Berkeley people have various overloaded servers problems. Very
understandable start-up problems for a project such as this.

I'm idling with some of the other distributed computing projects for the
moment.

Hang in there,

and happy crunchin',

I left my empty BOINC running all day and night and finally
snagged a work unit this morning at 5:06 pacific time. Since then it
has tried and failed to get more work units (I want to cache about a
weeks worth). Did get a new error message on the last attempt...

SETI@home - 2004-07-01 05:59:27 - Sending request to scheduler:
http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi
SETI@home - 2004-07-01 05:59:27 - scheduler init_op_project to
http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed, error -107
SETI@home - 2004-07-01 05:59:27 - init_op_project failed, error -107

error -107. cool. g

There's a good chance some of you won't be coming back.
I can deal with that. - Synonamess Botch

Error 107 is a connection error message. All the BOINC error messages can be
seen here (when the website is up) http://boinc.berkeley.edu/error_numbers.h
