Default Seti Position?

Hi!
Has anyone else noted this?
My count of units is ok, and going up as it should.
BUT for the last few days (in the AM) my position is getting reset to the
same as I had the day before. At about 20 units a day there is no way this
should happen for days. I think it started on the 23rd or 24th.

This happens a lot. What causes it is that you are returning your WUs at
one point in the day, and later in the same day (or, most likely, during the
night), other people who are at the same basic level as you are returning
batches of WUs. Both SETI Queue and SETIGate allow you to set your
connection times and will hold completed results until the specified time.

I see nothing special happening -- and nothing has changed in the last
week. My rank is genereally moving lower -- some people will pass me,
but my rank will almost always be lower from day to day.

Given the number of machines that can crank out 5-8 WU/day, I'd guess
there are a lot more people who can post 20 WU/day -- or maybe many
more.

Don't worry; be happy. It's all a game.
