Gary DNS problem, yes i think that too. but i have no problems pinging other hosts like: ping www.google.com etc. can it still be a dns problem ? Try pinging shserver2.ssl.berkeley.edu |

Try using some of the parameters. Are you using a proxy? Then you have to
