Philae is considered a success, even if it did not meet all its
possible goals. Technically, all missions fail at the end.

Titanic delivered thirty one passengers to their respective destinations.

Successful ship?

Nah. It was sunk by inanely strict social hierarchy.
Or insanely strict if you want to floridize it.
No doubt lessons were eventually learned to the benefit of future shipping safety.
But only once the hierarchy had mulched it over as a possible threat to the bottom line.
Or badly leaking shipping line if you want to be pedantic.
Don't worry. You will. ;-)

BTW: I'm not really anti-anything on your personal shopping list.
I'm just an over-generous, constructive critic.
Holding up an undistorting mirror is a truer kindness than consistently voting for the barstewards due to your innate vacuity.
