Can Spirit help find Beagle2?

Default Can Spirit help find Beagle2?

First, mega congrats to all the folks at NASA and JPL involved in this
awesome, awesome, landing. Haven't yet heard this question asked, but
is there anything that either Spirit, or assuming a safe landing 3
weeks from now, Opportunity might be able to do to assist in
determining what happened to Beagle2? Could Spirit or Opportunity
actually traverse the martian landscape towards Beagle's expected
landing site and look around? Just curious.

Beagle is too far away for that sort of mission.

Beagle is too far away for that sort of mission.

No; both the NASA landers are in completely different parts of the planet to
Beagle. You'll find some good maps which show all the landing sites at:
