Looks like, they use the same pricing tactic, as with the Megrez 80, 2 years
ago. As new batch of telescope came out, price went up a bit. Seems the
dealer tries to find the most money ,he can get for it.

Probably more a case of creating a market by starting the price as low as
possible.

The question for any buyer is whether the scope is worth $500 or not. From the
reviews I have seen, it seems to be.
