Default dark sky site outside Dallas/Fort Worth?

I am traveling to Fort Worth in a week, and was going to take along my
small scope. I am looking for suggestions for a dark sky location I can
use Dec 29-31.

Any suggestions? Perhaps a good state park with late hours?

Thanks!
Mark
