STEPHEN HAWKING FINALLY COMES TO HIS SENSES

LONDON (Rueters) --Stephen
Hawking, whose bowling-ball-size
brain made him an international
celebritiy for decades, was released
from a mental institution today.

"Steve's still a bit cuckoo but we
no longer feel he's a threat to himself
and others," said a spokesman at the
Looney Bird's Nest in Stratfordshire.

In fact, the institution released
a brief tape message from Professor
Hawking to prove just how well he
is doing after undergoing months
of electric shocks.

Hawking, a theoretical physicist
and cosmologist, was officially
declared off his rocker by the
British Academy of Science for
saying there is NO God and
that the universe may well have
been created on its own.

He also was removed from the
top of the list of Smartest People
in the World and was replaced
by one Ed Conrad whose picture
appears below.
