Default Sh2-96 - Supernova remnant in Cygnus

Dear group,

Third time lucky in my attempts to image Sh2-96 and which represents
the northern section of the shell of the supernova remnant G65.2+05.7
(the western wall of the shell is represented by Sh2-94 and the
southern section of the shell by Sh2-91).

The identification of G65.2+05.7 occurred in 1977 during an emission
line survey of the galactic plane and where the various pieces were
finally put together, thus identifying this large area of emission
nebulosity as a supernova remnant.

For last night's result under good seeing and transparency, please see
http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-Nebulae-Sh2-96.htm .

Anthony.
