Danilo,
There is some flaring on the left side. Is the source SAO 44141? Thanks. Anthony. I recently imaged this also with an AP 305mmF3.8 Riccardi Honders astrograph. It is a difficult object because the spiral arms are quite faint compared to the central bright area. I shot this in a heavily light polluted industrial area in Rockford, Illinois. ANY possibility of some colour or is this it due to the light pollution you mention? Those stars are very tight. Impressive and especially in lieu of your manual focusing. Anthony. |
