BTW, the FFC remains a very nice instrument. I recently used mine (the
2.8 version) after more than a year of inactivity and... it was very
very close to perfect focus.

Danilo,

There is some flaring on the left side. Is the source SAO 44141?

Thanks.

Anthony.

Nice shot Danilo.
I recently imaged this also with an AP 305mmF3.8 Riccardi Honders
astrograph. It is a difficult object because the spiral arms are quite
faint compared to the central bright area. I shot this in a heavily
light polluted industrial area in Rockford, Illinois.

Nice one Rolando!

ANY possibility of some colour or is this it due to the light
pollution you mention?

Those stars are very tight. Impressive and especially in lieu of your
manual focusing.

Anthony.

Color is very difficult when you have the level of light pollution
that we have here.
