![]() Funny, that. We have groups for astronomy and agronomy, and we have groups for science and finance and politics and economy and society, and thousands of groups for sex and entertainment and all such stuff of intense human interest. But, correct me if I'm wrong, we don't seem to have a single group for cosmology, which, after all, is what it is all about - and what is all about us. Maybe that says more about human thinking than humans would care to know. |

I always thought that cosmology was just a synonym for astronomy...
According to Dictionary.com: 1)The study of the physical universe considered as a totality of phenomena in time and space. a)The astrophysical study of the history, structure, and constituent dynamics of the universe. b)A specific theory or model of this structure and these dynamics. Hmm, seems like it could be defined as part of astronomy to me. Sci.astro.cosmo perhaps? |
