Default Meade Computer Aided Telescope (CAT)

Does anyone have experience with Meade's CAT (Computer Aided Telescope)
accessory from the early 90's? It is a computerized digital setting circle
device with an object database.

I Have been having trouble with mine and finally figured out that it doesn't
work right if the date entered into it is after the year 2000. I purchased
the EPROM upgrade for planetary data through 2008 but the underlying code
doesn't seem to be Y2K compliant.

If there are any other CAT owners that have the same problem I would
appreciate any suggestions for a work-around.

Mike
