Climbing the Mountain of Space
Elon Musk wants a hydrogen upper stage. Elon Musk will develop a hydrogen upper stage engine. Elon Musk is smart enough to understand that if the hydrogen upper stage is powerful enough, he can cluster up ground started variations of the hydrogen engine on a large core stage, and boost that large core stage off the pad with two Falcon 9s, and then recover the Falcon 9s and continue on to low Earth orbit by sequentially shutting down engines until only a single upper stage engine is running, creating the world's first fully reusable interplanetary launch vehicle. Upper stage engines and fuel tanks will be extremely useful in space. http://webpages.charter.space/tsiolkovsky/ Ceres or Bust. |

I know five years ago I had a real long and interesting day on the 35th Apollo 11 anniversary. Remember, December 14, 2012 is the 40th anniversary of the last liftoff. Whatever happens in terms of architecture, happens between now and then. We could have a reusable heavy lift liquid fuel launch vehicle by then. Ceres or Bust. |

Ceres is a perfectly viable destination, especially if anyone has an actual fly-by-rocket lander that you'd dare trust with your own life (even if it's a one-way mission). Too bad the 100% reliable and by far the most applied energy efficient Saturn 5 is not an option. However, notice that whenever the regular laws of physics and best available science that's easily peer replicated supports an outside/ independent theory or deductive interpretation on behalf of anything, suddenly those exact same laws of physics (including everything Newtonian) and whatever the science becomes systematically disqualified and/or simply can't apply because they(insiders of our DARPA and NASA cult/cabal) say so. It's like everything of Usenet/newsgroups and Google Groups turns itself into an unusually faith-based and/or politically skewed kind of brown-nosed clown populated realm of bizarro land, whereas up becomes down and black becomes white, or else we merely slip into the 4th or 5th dimension (similar to falling off the edge of Earth). Lord forbid we should maintain or cultivate any kind of an open mindset and thereby fairly exchange/share ideas and information, or much less dare revise anything, whereas instead purely subjective science news as based upon mainstream conditional physics and scientific obfuscation gets front page and above the fold coverage, along with nothing but the very best of supercomputer simulations and artificial composite/ stacked eyecandy hype, and of course all of it at public funded expense none the less (as Walter Cronkite would say; because that’s the way it is). ~ Brad Guth Brad_Guth Brad.Guth BradGuth BG / “Guth Usenet” |

How dare you tell them the whole truth and nothing but the truth. No wonder you're on so many killfiles and NO FLY lists. ~ BG |

I will fight your fascism at the voting polls and on the battlefield, but only when absolutely necessary, after all other diplomatic and verbal avenues of rehabilitation of the greedy, corrupt, incorrigible, criminal, religious and just plain retarded are completely exhausted. |

As I said, you're a coward. If anyone showed up at your trailer, you'd go crying and hiding behind Nana while you wet your pants. No, I'll just file a police report with links to your usenet posts, and defend myself in the usual island bandito fashion - by insulting them. |

I'll only insult them if they show up and then refuse to come in and have milk and cookies. Golly gee whiz, Tommy Lee! What happened to that lawsuit you were going to file? You just threatened my life on another thread. Clear enough? It's not a civil case anymore, it's a criminal case now. Oh, that's right. You're a coward *and* a liar. But I'm not a violent criminal American fascist like you, so I'm good. |
