Minimal kidney bean effect in 9mm Nagler Type 6?

Earlier Nagler eyepieces have been known to show slight kidney bean effects
while viewing. Has this problem been mostly done away with in the newer type
6 line, or should I avoid these eyepieces?

I'm interested in using a 9mm Nagler type 6 eyepiece on my Meade ETX 90RA.
This might sound like overkill on a scope of this size, but I'm hoping to
get a new and larger scope next year.

The 9mm type 6 is one great eyepiece. I've haven't had any problems
with kidney-beaning with my 7 or 9mm type 6 Naglers.
