Earlier Nagler eyepieces have been known to show slight kidney bean effects
while viewing. Has this problem been mostly done away with in the newer type 6 line, or should I avoid these eyepieces? I'm interested in using a 9mm Nagler type 6 eyepiece on my Meade ETX 90RA. This might sound like overkill on a scope of this size, but I'm hoping to get a new and larger scope next year. PS: Read Todd Gross' review he http://www.weatherman.com/nagler.htm (NEW: The 9mm Nagler Type 6). Thanks for your opinions. Clear skies, Mark Ledingham |

EDIT Mark, The 9mm type 6 is one great eyepiece. I've haven't had any problems with kidney-beaning with my 7 or 9mm type 6 Naglers. Dave Mitsky |
