![]() "space-travel-is-fake" wrote in message om... http://www.geocities.com/markpeeters96/a01.html Nice try :-) Unfortunately, it doesn't explain the show running on my tv now. It has been bounced off a satellite which weighs significantly more than 1 kg. Surely you're not saying that there are no satellites? The dish wouldn't work unless the satellite was in the exact direction the dish is pointing. That's empirical evidence of space travel right there. |

There are tens of thousands of AWACS flying racetrack patterns all over the world. The television you are seeing isn't being bounced off a satellite, it is beamed directly from the AWACS to 'satellite' receivers. Of course, cable television never receives any transmissions from space; those big dishes you see at the cable offices are just for show. The real signal comes on land-lines. I thought everyone knew this. Of course I realize you're pulling my leg, but if you weren't, I'd point out that satellites are observable through a telescope. |

If so, how did you know it was a satellite, and not a silver-colored Blackbird flying on the same trajectory? If not, then how do you know that everyone with a telescope is not in a giant conspiracy to perpetuate the lie of satellites. I can keep this up all day, Laura; I've read enough kook conspiracy theories to know that they are seamless, and all data can be bent to fit any given theory. Now try to imagine the earth-bound technology that could produce Iridium flashes. Breathtaking science, and breathtaking scientific conspiracy. Tom McDonald |

I'll have to think about this one, but wouldn't it be easier to actually launch the 50-odd satellites needed :-) -- Rabbit arithmetic - 1 plus 1 equals 10 Remove spam and invalid from address to reply. |

Those things up there in orbit are FAKE SATELLITES! yuk yuk Landing a man on the moon is a tremendously difficult project. Faking it and getting away with it would be ten times harder. |
