Took over a century to nail it down for sure, but one of the
slickest-looking little formulas and theories of all time: E=MC˛ ....has apparently been confirmed: http://www.upi.com/Science_News/2008...3361227327663/ God, what a wonderful dream to have seen his face when he first realized that after all that hard work it could all be expressed in such a simple and all-encompassing mathematical formula as that. That is one of the greatest and most profound moments in the entire history of the species known as Homo Sapiens. Pat |

Would a superset of that formula involve additional higher dimensions? And likely exponentially greater energies? Hmmm. --Damon |

Okay, so he did botch it in regards to the total number of dimensions, and why his "cosmological constant" was working without realizing the Big Bang had occurred. But I'll tell you one thing though, mate...you handed him a chunk of Norwegian Blue Dilithium Crystal...and _BOOM_... he'd have ripped himself right out of the cage of standard physics with one hell of a shriek. :-D Pat |

It never did work as well as the old Netscape/Mozilla one that actually listed alternative words by the letter they started with. What the present one works with regarding spelling logic is completely beyond me. Pat |

I suspect they mean it was "proven" in a purely mathematical derivation. But that's not exactly clear.
