Just starting with astronomy, and looking for dark sites around Nottingham -
preferably without "doggers" ! LOL Any ideas please ? |

I'm from Leicester (boo!), so not sure it'll help much, but I find skies darker towards E & SE and used google earth to find somewhere far from my city's streetlights etc. I would think the rectangular area between Owthorpe, Langer, Harby and Hickling would be fairly dark for you. -- Rob |
