Default Debris strike?

3.5 minutes GET? I'm sure I saw two pieces of debris from ahead of the SRB
camera come loose and hit the HRSI.

Sorry - ET camera - not the SRB.

I saw one piece definitely bounce; replays now beginning...

And during ET separation, there seemed to be a rectangular white spot on
the tail end of the starboard wing.

Also, did I hear "go *with* throttle up" ? Or was it just my imagination ?

(there have been many discussions

BTW, CNN entertainment network is now replaying the 2 pieces/foam and
discussing this.

Note that this video shows a rather slow speed for the debris, at the
altitude they won't have that much speed/energy relative to the shuttle.

There were several debris events. One fairly sizable piece ricocheted
off Discovery's belly/right wing root area. The NSF.com guys are all
downplaying that, but I don't know... looked pretty large and the
impact was substantial.

Another smaller piece sailed by without impact and I think it cast a
shadow as it past, so it looked like two pieces.

I saw a small piece that I thought was two, but it had a shadow and didn't
hit. That was just after SRB sep. About a minute later, there was a much
larger piece which definitely hit; near the leading edge of the 'root
extension'.
