Default Barack Obama Tries to Hoodwink Florida Aerospace Workers

Senator Barack Obama, having concluded that for all practical purposes
that the primary campaign is over, has decided to start his general
election campaign in Florida. The importance of Florida to Obama's
candidacy was illustrated by his rhetoric on space exploration.

You've got to be kidding, or simply a whole lot dumb and dumber than a
mainstream cultivated turd on Viagra. How much spare loot do you

And as always, Senator Obama is as clear as mud.

Well, what a candiate says on the campaign trail is almost irellevant;
they have to deal with the real world once inaugurated. The latest
AVIATION WEEK reports that Congress wants to speed up the deployment
of Orion and endorses the idea of sending astronauts beyond LEO,
although they're kicking around the idea of a "manned tended" lunar
base as opposed to a permanent installation. Still gets people to the
Moon! And there is still international insterest in an international
mission, and Democrats are internationalists.

So if Senator Obama really does want to be the president who kills the
manned program --- assuming we can even know what he's thinking from
the scraps that get out -- there is at least the chance he'd have
static from Congress -- from Republicans AND Democrats. Not a
certainty, but a chance.
