A Revised Classification of the Variable Star NSV 620
01 44 38.00 -77 22 12.0 (Hydrus) The period of 47.2 days taken together with the scatter in the phase diagram suggests that NSV 620 is not an eclipsing binary star as suggested in the International Variable Star Index but is a semi- regular variable star. The amplitude (11.09 to 11.97 in the V band) is also typical of this type of variable star. The epoch (max) HJD = 2453736.8 +/- 0.7. http://www.martin-nicholson.info/asas/nsv620/nsv620.htm Martin Nicholson, Daventry, England.
