Default Mars-asteroid encounter, 30 Jan 2008

I mentioned Within the NYC astronomy circles about checking for
myself the Mars-asteroid encounter of 2008 January 30. A descriptions
of the results are in my January 2008 SpaceWalk column at the NSS
website. Go to

'chapters.nss.org/my/nyc'

and click at the top 'Spacewalk - Jan 2008'. All the diagrams in that
column are my own, except, as noted in the piece, the skyscape of
Mira.
This was posted in the website earlier this week. Yet i already
got several emails about it. I'm busy replying to them and
circulating
extra printouts of the column.
