With the lousy weather and now full moon I'm reprocessing some I did
last year about this time. Back then I didn't have access to PhotoShop nor know how to use it so I was stuck in CCDSoft, AIM4Windows and IRIS (which I never did figure out). Redoing it in Photoshop brought out the HII regions a lot better. Now I also see some odd nearly horizontal dust bands that look a bit like those crossing M81. They don't follow the spiral pattern yet are quite obvious south west (down and to the right) of the core. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=5x6' RGB=3x6' all binned 2x2, STL-11000XM, Paramount ME Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
