"Summerland" another astronomy blunder.

He was talking about the mythology of Orion and the Pleiades
then they showed a picture of M45 in the sky. The guy says its
light shines from reflected starlight on dust in space. So far
so good.

Then the kid looks though the telescope, but wait, its a 4" Newtonian
and its pointing DOWN. They show an astrophoto of M45 and the
kid says "it glows blue, just like a picture".

Wow, what a 4" reflector, not only can you see color in M45 but
you see it reflected off the SAND!

The closest I've ever seen to a scientifically accurate
astronomy show on TV is the BBC's _The Sky at Night_.
