First off, major congrats to the Scaled, Vulcan and SpaceDev crews. I
saw the CNN web video, and it was great to see SS1 flying like that. I'm wondering if this flight was an actual X Prize flight? Did they carry the extra weight to simulate passengers, or was this another proving-out flight? Major media have been saying this was an XPrize attempt, but Scaled doesn't seem to have said yes or no. If it is an X Prize attempt they could use July 4th to win, otherwise the 4th and 17th? Josh |
